Following Denmark’s Martin Toft Masden attempted to beat Sir Bradley Wiggins’ UCI Hour Record recently on Walker Brothers Ethereal ESD front and back discs made here in our workshop at Newburn, Tyne & Wear, England, Vittoria Bussi, the Rome-born former athlete and triathlete, is to undertake an attempt using the same wheels on either 12 or 13th September. Bussi made a previous UCI Hour Record attempt last October, she clocked up 47.576 kilometres, just 400 metres (or less than two laps) fewer than the world record holder Evelyn Stevens and further than any female Italian rider.
