On July 26 at the Velodromo Bicentenario in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Denmarks Martin Toft Madsen covered 53.630km. In doing so he posted the second longest Hour record distance ever, falling short of the record by Sir Bradley Wiggins 2015 distance of 54.526km by 896 metres. On paper, he was unsuccessful. But in fact, he is now the second-fastest man in the world over one hour, and thrashed his own national record of 52.324km.
Masden used Walker Brothers Ethereal ESD front and back discs for the attempt and we are currently in discussions with Martin in preparation for any further attempt
